By accessing this website you accept to be bound to our terms and conditions.
Our terms and conditions may be changed at any time. You the site user are responsible for keeping up to date with the latest terms and conditions.

THE SERVICE
Lucy Harrison Casting is intended for those who do not have exclusive sole representation. We are a non sole agency.
By registering your profile on the website you agree to us representing you as your agent where necessary including jobs that have been sourced to you exclusively via our agency.
Happy House Media Ltd T/A Lucy Harrison Casting operates in full compliance with the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and all associated regulations, including the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

FEES:
We do not charge any fees to represent you as an agent.
The agency shall take a commission from any booking we secure for you. All fees quoted are inclusive of agency fees. The agency takes between 20-25% from all fees including casting, travel days, recall, wardrobe, shoot and buy-out fees (with the exception of transport, food and hotel fees)
All work will be paid at an agreed rate, either hourly, half day, full day or buy out rate, unless otherwise stated and a percentage will be deducted towards agency fees, these will be 20-25%.

Commission charges
As of 19th August 2024 our commission rates for all commercial/advertising work and stills work will be increased to 25%.

TV, Film commission rates are to remain at 20%
Theatre commission rates are to remain at 15%

All bookings are based on a 10 hr working day plus 1 hr lunch - overtime is charge at 20% per hr of the BSF. It is an artists responsibility to keep track of their timings.

Appropriate usage fees./buyout fees are paid if necessary.

If a client we have introduced to you, books you/the artiste directly, you are required to notify us and our commission must be deducted and paid to us.

INVOICING
Lucy Harrison Casting will invoice the Client on the artistes behalf for work
performed by the artiste and raise a self-billed invoice for the artistes net of the commission owing to Lucy Harrison Casting. The artiste agrees to accept invoices raised by Lucy Harrison Casting on their behalf. All fees payable will be made directly to Lucy Harrison Casting. When the Client has made payment of the fee
owing, Lucy Harrison Casting will pay the artiste within 10 days the fee, net any other fees due to Lucy Harrison Casting such as any NIC or tax deductions which may have been made by the Client as required by law, prior to payment being received by Lucy Harrison Casting.
Usage/Buyout invoices to be issued separately after confirmation of final live date.

PAYMENT, USAGE AND BUYOUT FEES
The Artist instructs that all payments shall be made to Lucy Harrison Casting.
Lucy Harrison Casting shall not be liable to the talent for any late payment by the client or failure of any Client to pay any fee due and owing.
The Usage/Buyout fee shall not be applicable until confirmation of first use and if the artist is recognisable in the final edit. In the event the materials are not used by the Client or the performance of the Artist is removed, the usage/buyout fee shall not be paid. The decision rests with the production company and Lucy Harrison Casting will not be held liable for these decisions.

As talent you grant Lucy Harrison Casting full authority to enter into and sign contracts, release forms, agreements, renewals on your behalf, solely in connection with engagements, projects, or opportunities secured or managed by the Agency. This includes, but is not limited to, agreements with clients, production companies, collaborators.

IMAGES
Images must be of a professional quality and your primary images must be a professional headshot. Profiles are not made public until these requirements and your application will be rejected.
It is mandatory for all profiles to have a complete set of digitals of our agency standard, these can be obtained by booking on to our digital day or elsewhere

Those without the correct digitals and images on their profiles will not be submitted for work and profiles will be deleted and removed from the website.
We shall not be held liable or accept any responsibility for any copyright issues.

LIABILITY
* Lucy Harrison Casting does not accept any responsibility for any loss or expense, consequential or otherwise, that may be incurred as a direct or indirect result of your profile being registered on the website or any information contained thereon.

*Lucy Harrison Casting does not hold responsibility in the accuracy of their talents information. We shall not be liable under any circumstances for the actions of any talent featured on this site.

*We have the right to remove your profile and if you breach these terms and conditions or if we feel that it is appropriate to do so.

* Any information that you submit by registering your details on the site will be deemed not confidential..

*In an event of our website being restricted or delayed we will not be liable for damages or costs during these circumstances.

INDEMNITY
As a user of the website you agree to release, indemnify and keep indemnifies us from and against all actions, claims, costs (including legal costs and expenses) losses, proceedings,damages, liabilities or demands suffered or incurred by us to any person arising out of or in connection with your use of our services.

ARTIST OBLIGATIONS
If the artist does accept an assignment negotiated by Lucy Harrison Casting in its capacity as agent for the Artist, the Artist shall:

Notify Lucy Harrison Casting with at least 48 hours’ notice if at any time you are not available for a casting or shoot.

Attend an assignment with clean natural hair and nails.
Whilst on set (and at all other material times) behave in a professional manner and complete their assignment
Co-operate with the Production Company’s reasonable instructions and accept the direction, supervision and control of any responsible person in the Production Company’s organisation;
The artist accepts that they are liable for any production losses if they fail to abide by the above terms and any charges made by the production will be deducted from monies owed to the artist.
